The people who continuously keep playing and engaging in games like this tend to get addicted to them. Games were never meant to be addictive to humans. The whole purpose of gaming was to sharpen and engage one’s brain, allowing them to enjoy the realm of the virtual world. 

This is the exact reason why skill-based games should be preferred by every gamer over any game of chance.
